Contrary to a common misconception, Stretch Marks are not formed on the outside of the skin(epidermis) but rather in a deeper layer the Dermis, where the elastic fibers that allow your skin to stretch are located. Stretcheaz increases the elasticity of your dermis by allowing the stress of rapid growth to be spread all around the circumference of your body (not just focused in one small area.) The combination of extra elasticity and spreading the force out is how Stretcheaz is able to minimize and prevent the effects of stretchmarks.
When do I start wearing it? The end of your first Trimester is the ideal time. However, Stretcheaz has been shown to be effective even in the last 2 weeks of pregnancy.
How long do I have to wear it? It is recommended you wear it at least 14 hours per day.
What size do I need? On the ordering page, there is a pop up size chart. Follow your current weight and see what size you need to order. You will wear the same size for your entire pregnancy.
How many do I need to order? We suggest you order at least 2 pair. That way it is more convenient for laundry, leaving you with one always ready to wear.
What is it made of? Stretcheaz is made of a custom silky smooth blend of 61% nylon and 39% Spandex. That is why it is able to stretch more than 4 times its relaxed size, to always provide a comfortable fit. Our patented Silicone pattern is made of 100% Medical Grade Pure Silicone rubber.
How does it come to me? The Stretcheaz comes either USPS or UPS packaged in this beautiful packaging.
Is there a return policy? Yes 30 days free return. Please send shipping pre-paid to the address on our contact form. Once we receive it, we will credit your account.
Do Creams and lotions prevent stretchmarks? Creams and lotions have been shown by medical and scientific studies (see science below) to NOT prevent stretch marks. Moistening of the epidermis will add a small amount of elasticity to your skin, but not enough to effect stretchmarks.
Are there any risks to me or my baby wearing Stretcheaz? There are no risks with Stretcheaz. It is not a compression garment and exerts no additional force on Mom or baby.
